Ayodhya Set for ₹500 Cr Revamp, Govt Vows Fair Process

May 22, 2025 | Ayodhya – Big changes are coming to Ayodhya. The Uttar Pradesh government has rolled out a ₹500 crore development plan that aims to make the city cleaner, safer, and easier for pilgrims to navigate.

The project includes new pedestrian pathways, better sanitation, and crowd control zones to handle the heavy footfall during religious festivals.

Officials promised that the land acquisition will be handled transparently and fairly. A state task force has been set up to oversee every step.

However, some locals have raised concerns about heritage preservation. In response, authorities reassured citizens that cultural landmarks will be protected, and affected families will be fully compensated.

This project is being seen as a major step in shaping Ayodhya as both a spiritual and modern city.
