NEET UG 2025 Answer Key Out: Here’s What Students Need to Know
New Delhi, June 5, 2025 –
Students across the country who sat for the NEET UG 2025 exam can now finally cross-check how they did. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for this year’s medical entrance test — a big moment for lakhs of aspirants waiting anxiously since the exam took place on May
The answer key is now live on the official website, and along with it, candidates can also view their OMR sheets and recorded responses.
So, Where Can You Check?
All you need to do is head to neet.nta.nic.in. Once there, click the link to access the answer key. You’ll be asked to log in with your application number and date of birth. After logging in, your responses and the official key will be right there, ready for review.
This isn’t just about curiosity — this is your chance to spot any errors and possibly raise an objection if you believe something’s wrong.
What If the Answer Seems Off?
NTA has allowed candidates to challenge the provisional key. If you find an answer that doesn’t sit right with you, there’s a process to follow.
- You’ll need to submit your objection through the website.
- The deadline is June 5 at 11:50 PM — and yes, that’s firm.
- There’s a ₹200 fee per question you challenge, and it’s non-refundable.
- Don’t forget to attach proof — like pages from a reference book or coaching material.
Once all objections are in, NTA’s expert panel will take a look. If your challenge is accepted, the key will be updated before final results are released.

What Happens Next?
The NEET UG 2025 results are expected around June 14, though no exact date has been confirmed yet. Once the final answer key is locked in, your marks will be calculated accordingly — no surprises after that.
Students React
For many students, the answer key is both a relief and a reality check. “It’s helpful to see where I stand before the results come out,” said Rajan Nair, a NEET aspirant from Kerala. “And at least if there’s a mistake, I get a chance to challenge it.”
