Hyderabad Tension Gunfire Outside MLC Teenmaar Mallanna’s Office After Group Clash

It was just another Monday afternoon at MLC Teenmaar Mallanna’s Uppal office — until the Teenmaar Mallanna gunfire incident shocked everyone nearby. Loud slogans erupted, followed by chaos inside the premises, as a group stormed in demanding answers and things quickly spiraled out of control.

Around 1:45 PM, a group of men, said to be linked with Telangana Jagruthi, arrived at the gate. Some were shouting, others recording on phones. Within minutes, the group forced its way inside. Eyewitnesses say chairs were knocked over, and there was an argument that quickly turned into pushing and yelling.

A screengrab from a video shows a security personnel of MLC Chintapandu Naveen Kumar, popularly known as Teenmaar Mallanna, pointing a gun towards Telangana Jagruthi group to warn them from entering the premises during the Teenmaar Mallanna gunfire incident.

“They didn’t come to talk. They came ready to fight,” said a staff member who did not want to be named.

With Mallanna inside and tensions rising, his personal security gunman pulled out his licensed revolver and fired a shot into the air — not to injure, but to stop the group from coming closer. That single gunshot sent everyone running. The street outside went silent. Residents peeped from windows. Some locked their shops.

Local police reached the office within minutes. Officers calmed the scene and spoke to both parties. No injuries were reported, but an official complaint was filed by Mallanna’s office regarding the forced entry and threats.

What Triggered the Teenmaar Mallanna Gunfire Clash?

Sources say the men were angry over a video posted by Teenmaar Mallanna a day earlier. In it, he allegedly made sharp remarks against Telangana Jagruthi, calling it a tool for “political branding.” The group says it came to “ask questions.” But Mallanna’s team says this was an “organized attack.”

“This wasn’t a protest. It was intimidation. What if that shot hadn’t scared them? What would’ve happened?” said another staffer.

The group involved is believed to be close to leaders from the ruling party’s cultural wing. While no official connection has been confirmed, political tensions have been high in recent weeks.

Police React to Teenmaar Mallanna Gunfire Incident

An officer from Uppal Police Station told us,

“We are examining CCTV footage from inside and outside the building. There was a gunshot — we are verifying the reason, the license, and will act as per law.”

Both sides may be called again for questioning. As of now, no arrests have been made.

Mallanna Silent — For Now
